Welcome Note

The Rural Road Connectivity Training and Research Centre (RCTRC), Kalyani was established on 28.06.2018 and was funded under RCIP Tranche-1 in ADB assisted PMGSY works. The RCTRC proposed to function as nodal Training and Research Centre for the State in the field of Rural Connectivity works. In past few years RCTRC conducted various training programme related to field works which enrich field Engineers to adopt cutting edge technologies and smart implementation of the Project. Training of different software tools are also provided adequately which support to implement Projects under short duration of time. These training processes are continuously organized by RCTRC at regular intervals which benefits the next generation Engineers and Technical manpower also. A Continuous effort has been made to develop various kind of research work at RCTRC. At present various testing and pavement design methodology using Full Depth Reclamation has been explore in RCTRC, West Bengal, along with training of field Engineers regarding the matter is also conducted.
